Ted Brumberg	General	This is an Atlantic Coast Line (ACL) diner, built by Pullman-Standard in 1950, named "Talladega"; it didn't have a number assigned by ACL, but under SCL it was #5955, and then #8085 while owned by Amtrak, all the while keeping the name. It was retired by Amtrak in 1981 and sold in 1983 to the North Alabama Chapter of the NRHS (a.k.a., the North Alabama RR Museum, located in Huntsville); I'm not sure when it was moved from Huntsville to Lamy.	3/14/2020 12:26:18 AM

Ted Brumberg	General	The Pullman-Standard Lot was #6808, and the Plan was #7592; there were 12 diners built to that Plan in that Lot, with 10 owned by ACL (town names) and 2 by FEC ("Fort" names). 1 was wrecked (the "Cordele") and replaced with a new car (the "Naples"; Lot #W6984, Plan #DP-1-20056); the 9 remaining cars and the replacement car went to Amtrak in 1971. A lot of these diners are still around; besides the "Talladega" in Lamy, Illinois RY Museum has the "Birmingham", the "Greenville" is at TVRM, the Watauga Valley Chapter NRHS has the "Moultrie", the "Fitzgerald" is in Warm Springs, GA, the "Naples" is in Kokomo, IN, the "Plant City" is used by the Delaware & Ulster RR for their "Rip Van Winkle Flyer", based at Arkville, NY, and the "Fort Ribault" is owned by the FEC RY Historical & Transportation Museum, in Fort Pierce, FL.	3/14/2020 12:36:20 AM
